How balances work
• Gold given on credit reduces available stock and creates a customer balance in grams and LKR.
• Gold received as repayment increases gold stock at the repayment day's saved rate.
• Cash received as repayment is converted to equivalent gold grams at the saved repayment-date rate and is added to the cash account.
• Customer credit is tracked only in grams; no rupee credit balance is displayed.
• Dashboard profit/loss compares current market value of remaining stock with its weighted-average cost.
• Average gold cost uses weighted-average costing. This is a management ledger, not a substitute for formal accounting.
